With “Non-Use of Force” training underway, we’d like to hear everyone’s thoughts – Officers of course, but also the supervisors who have taken the class already.
Apparently, there was quite a bit of controversy at the white shirt training and the Department had to have an exempt member (captain, commander, inspector, etc) on hand to keep everyone in line. No SPARs were issued, but a number of people had to be told to sit down and shut up….exactly the message you want to be sending to the troops.
So post away. We’re attending soon, so we’ll be interested to see how it all stacks up.
